' Their 'if it was my bike' stance was to keep riding it My buddy who worked for years at Trek says there is a very good chance it is just the paint that cracked, not the frame. A trick he learned from Trek mechanics was to put a bit of finger nail polish over the crack and see what happened to it.. Has anyone else experienced anything similar? Advice?
